If so, this position is FOR YOU.
Immediate opening for an automotive PPF installer/specialist. Tap And Wrap is currently seeking a highly motivated individual who can remove and apply paint protection film for our newly opened shop in Calgary.
We are looking for someone who has experience working with newer vehicles, with high attention to detail, and a passion for the industry.
Must be experienced installing and removing paint protection film with pre-cut patterns and bulk film by hand cutting.
- Automotive paint protection film installation: 2 years minimum (mandatory)
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License (required)
- Minimum 2 years in-person sales experience (strongly preferred)
- Great attention to detail

- Strong work ethic
- Able to work independently (unsupervised) and in a team setting with others
- Relatable trade experience is an asset (detailing, vinyl wrapping, paint protection film, ceramic coating)
- Must have the ability to explain and make recommendations to clients when needed
- Knowledge or experience with Ceramic Coating is an asset
- Apply PPF on windows, exterior body panels, interior, headlights, and/or taillights as requested by the client
- Must be able to complete work in a timely manner and stay on schedule
- Must be proactive and solution-oriented
- Must be open to upgrading skills and taking company-provided training
- Provide exceptional customer service on the phone and in-person
- Communicate effectively with clients on their requirements and make recommendations as needed
- Perform quality inspections, supplementary appointments, and touch-ups as required
- Keep the shop and work environment clean and organized at all times
- Review the completed job with the client during pick-up
- Remove old PPF when required
- Must be able to effectively demonstrate the differences between the tint films we carry
- Must be able to understand client needs, explain solutions, and make recommendations as needed
- Must be able to effectively upsell or cross-sell additional products/services when needed
- Install PPF on client vehicles, on-site at the shop
- Must be able to work 4, 8, and/or 10 hour shifts
- Initially to start on contract-basis
- Day and evening shifts
- Must be available 2-7 days a week
- Up to 40 hours a week, with the opportunity to become full-time employee and get raises
