PPF Warranty Details

What sets Tap and Wrap apart from all other PPF shops is our hassle-free, 10-year material warranty + lifetime workmanship warranty.

Simply put: if your PPF install has any issues with defective materials, any XPEL shop in the world will replace it for free within 10 years of the install date. If there are any labour issues ever, we’ll fix or replace it for free.

Our clients enjoy the peace of mind knowing that any discoloration, cracking, blistering, bubbling, peeling, and/or delamination when installed by a Tap and Wrap installer will be replaced at absolutely no charge, as long as it fits within the criteria below.

Our 10 Year Warranty is FREE and covers defective films. Our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty is also FREE and covers defective installation or errors in the workmanship.

10 Year Material Warranty covers:

Bubbling, discoloration, cracking, blistering, peeling, and/or delamination;

Manufacturer defects;

10 Year Material Warranty does not cover:

Damage to the film caused by pets, children, or other third parties;

Damage to the film caused by pressure washing directly on the film edges;

Damage to the film caused by rock chips or other road debris;

Improper installation;

Replacement in a different film type or shade than the originally installed film;

Damage caused to the film from breakage or cracking of body panel, caused by vandalism or accidents.

Conditions & exclusions:

10 Year Warranties cover PPF work done by Tap And Wrap installers in Calgary, AB

Vehicle owner must provide proof of purchase from Tap And Wrap

10 Year Warranty covers film removal and replacement of the PPF

The same type and shade of film must be installed

Lifetime Workmanship Warranty covers:

Any issues due to improper install (such as bubbles, peeling, delamination)

Lifetime Workmanship Warranty does not cover:

Damage to the film caused by pets, children, or other third parties;

Damage to the film caused by pressure washing directly on the film edges;

Damage to the film caused by rock chips or other road debris;

Replacement in a different film type or shade than the originally installed film;

Damage caused to the film from breakage or cracking of body panel, caused by vandalism or accidents.

All our clients get FREE 10 Year Material Warranty + Lifetime Workmanship Warranty on their PPF installation at Tap And Wrap.

In the event that you’re eligible for coverage, your film will be fully replaced at no charge through Tap And Wrap.

PPF No-Fault Replacement Warranty Details

We help our clients protect their investment from everything the 10-year Warranty DOES NOT cover – with a No-Fault Warranty. The film is usually installed on the exterior panels of the vehicle, so it is possible for third-party damage or deep scratches to occur. Whether it is from parking lot door dings, accidents, pressure washing, or any fault of a 3rd party, the No-Fault Replacement Warranty will cover it.

With this new “NO FAULT REPLACEMENT WARRANTY” you will be able to replace your PPF on up to 2 body panels per purchased warranty, for whatever reason.

If you decide you want to go gloss or satin, this warranty covers the removal and re-install of PPF on upto 2 body panels per purchased warranty.

No-Fault Replacement Warranty covers:

Damage to the film caused by scratches, accidents, or other third parties;

Replacement in the same or different film type or shade than the originally installed film;

Damage caused to the film from breakage or cracking of body panels, caused by vandalism or accidents;

Damage caused to the film by pressure washing directly on the edges;

Damage caused to the film by rock chips or other road debris;

Covers up to 2 body panels per purchased warranty

No-Fault Replacement Warranty does not cover:

Film installs done by other shops

Glass replacement or any automotive repair work other than our original installation;

Conditions & exclusions:

No-Fault Replacement Warranty is extended to the original purchaser indefinitely as long as they still own the specific vehicle that was originally worked on by Tap And Wrap

No-Fault Replacement Warranties can only be redeemed one time. Once redeemed, additional warranties after your replacement service

Valid as long as the vehicle is legally registered (does not cover totalled or unregistered vehicles)

How to start a claim:

No-Fault Replacement Warranty is available upon request during your PPF film installation at Tap And Wrap.

In the event that you’re eligible for coverage, your Paint Protection Film with be fully replaced at no charge (following the criteria) through No-Fault Replacement Warranty.
