What sets Tap and Wrap apart from all other PPF shops is our hassle-free, 10-year material warranty + lifetime workmanship warranty.
Simply put: if your PPF install has any issues with defective materials, any XPEL shop in the world will replace it for free within 10 years of the install date. If there are any labour issues ever, we’ll fix or replace it for free.
Our clients enjoy the peace of mind knowing that any discoloration, cracking, blistering, bubbling, peeling, and/or delamination when installed by a Tap and Wrap installer will be replaced at absolutely no charge, as long as it fits within the criteria below.
Our 10 Year Warranty is FREE and covers defective films. Our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty is also FREE and covers defective installation or errors in the workmanship.

PPF No-Fault Replacement Warranty Details
We help our clients protect their investment from everything the 10-year Warranty DOES NOT cover – with a No-Fault Warranty. The film is usually installed on the exterior panels of the vehicle, so it is possible for third-party damage or deep scratches to occur. Whether it is from parking lot door dings, accidents, pressure washing, or any fault of a 3rd party, the No-Fault Replacement Warranty will cover it.
With this new “NO FAULT REPLACEMENT WARRANTY” you will be able to replace your PPF on up to 2 body panels per purchased warranty, for whatever reason.
If you decide you want to go gloss or satin, this warranty covers the removal and re-install of PPF on upto 2 body panels per purchased warranty.

In the event that you’re eligible for coverage, your Paint Protection Film with be fully replaced at no charge (following the criteria) through No-Fault Replacement Warranty.

Clearplex Windshield Protection Film Warranty
Madico does not recommend installing ClearPlex windshield protection film on damaged glass with chips, bullseyes or deep scratches.
Glass should be repaired prior to installation for best film adhesion.
Manufacturer’s Defect Limited Warranty: Various provisions in this Manufacturer’s Defect Limited Warranty (the “Limited Warranty”) regulate coverage. Read the entire Warranty carefully to determine your rights and duties and our obligations with respect to this Warranty.
Madico, Inc., the manufacturer of ClearPlex Windshield Protection Film (“the Product”), warrants to the original retail purchaser of the Product, that when the Product is maintained according to the Product Care Requirements on the front of this Warranty, it will be free of discernible manufacturing defects, including but not limited to substantial yellowing, cracking, bubbling or peeling, for a period of 18 months or 18,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the date of purchase of the Product (the “Limited Warranty Period”). This Limited Warranty only applies to the original purchaser of the Product, and the original application of the Product to the vehicle described in this Limited Warranty, and is not transferable or assignable, by operation of law or otherwise. There are no warranties other than this Limited Warranty, and all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or of merchantability, are specifically disclaimed.
In the event that the Product is determined by Madico to be defective, Madico will replace the defective film by delivering replacement film to any Madico certified installer of the product, as designated by the claimant. This shall be Madico’s only obligation under this Limited Warranty. Madico is not responsible for the cost of re-installation of the Product. In no event shall Madico be liable or responsible for any loss or damage, including, without limitation, direct, indirect or consequential damages, even if Madico is advised of the potential for such damages. This Limited Warranty shall be void if the Product has been subject to abuse, improper installation and/or care in contravention of the film care instructions on page one of this warranty. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary by country, region, state, department, prefecture, province, county, or city.
Exclusions: This Warranty only covers discernible manufacturing defects in the Product as defined above, and does not cover existing glass damage or damage that is caused by or results from (a) deterioration of the Product due to normal wear (windshield wiper scratching is considered normal wear), accident, collision, negligence, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, alteration, modification, customization or vandalism, (b) sandstorms, hail, tornadoes, hurricanes, (c) any use of the vehicle on dirt roads, mining roads, gravel roads (off-road), (d) chemicals and caustic materials, (e) falling objects, (f) cleaning or scrubbing the product on the windshield with abrasive material, (g) any usage of a power washer on the windshield, (h) fraudulent claims, (i) installation by anyone other than a Madico approved ClearPlex Windshield Film installer, (j) misapplication or faulty installation, or (k) cosmetic damage.
Limitations: No agent, representative, installer, dealer or employee has the authority to alter, extend, limit, modify, or increase the obligations or limitations of this Limited Warranty. The installer of the Product is NOT an employee or agent of Madico, Inc. The installer is solely responsible for any defects that result from improper installation, or from any modifications or repairs made to your vehicle in connection with the installation of the Product.
